Pre-Release Employment Navigator - Orlando, FL

MAJOR FUNCTION

:  The Employment Navigator reports to the lead educator or the Assistant Warden at the Central Florida Reception Center in Orlando, FL. The Employment Navigator delivers services through cell-front and/or in congregate settings.  The Pre-Release Employment Navigator:

• Provides in-person and virtual facilitation of workshops and training relative to employability and life skills.

• Provides administration and interpretation of assessments.

• Maintains and provides documentation of services delivered.

• Facilitates pre-release connections with community providers and employers through face-to-face and technology-based interactions to include pre-release job search, recruitment, and placement activities.
