The Classroom Teachers

A classroom teacher's primary role is on the planning, preparation and teaching of subjects that are assigned to her at the start of the school year by the Principal and the Managing Trustee.  The following are his/her roles and responsibilities:

a.     Planning and preparing lessons, as required by the Principal, in order to achieve specific student outcomes/objectives,

b.     Encouraging student participation, through asking questions or through the use of visual aids;

c.      Researching and implementing new teaching methods, appropriate for the subject being taught, especially on the use of technology,

d.     Preparing and administering quizzes, examinations, and marking the papers of the students

e.     Record the result of student performance, compute their grades, and submit these to the Principal,

f Gives homework or classwork or make-up work for students who is encountering difficulties in learning,
