Prep Cook & Utility Worker, Grille (004019)

The Grille at Middlebury College is looking for a part time employee (20 hrs./week). The shift is Wednesday through Sunday from 4pm to 8pm.

We are looking for a food service/kitchen worker who is needed to perform a variety of functions in our kitchen to prepare the restaurant for service and to prepare food for other venues within the department. Ages 14+ may appl but there are restrictions of use on sharp tools, ovens and chemicals with employees below the age of 16.


This is a part-time, non-benefited position with a starting wage of $16.94 per hour.


Responsibilities may include:

+ Preparing fruits and vegetables for use, washing, peeling, chopping, and more.


+ Always maintaining a clean and tidy workstation.


+ Stocking various items in preparation for future shifts.


+ Notifying the manager on duty of any out of date or rotting food.
