Salary: £14 - £16 per hour (DOE)

Press Brake Operator required to join a specialist manufacturer of high-quality factory machinery, including weighers, tippers, conveyors, and processing equipment.

Press Brake Operator Job Overview

Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines
Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and bend schedules
Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job
Perform precision bending and forming of sheet metal and plate materials
Conduct in-process inspections using measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, angle gauges, etc.)
Ensure all components meet quality standards and tolerances
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and fabrication team members to ensure design intent is achieved
Maintain equipment and report maintenance requirements promptly
