Press Operator

Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Press Operator in our Sylacauga, Alabama Facility. The Press Operator is responsible for the operation of various tonnage presses and producing quality parts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cold stamping, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:


+ Operation and knowledge of tonnage presses, decoilers, feeders, conveyors, cranes, and PLC controlled equipment

+ Perform Quick Die Change as per Q.D.C. procedure with minimum supervision

+ Use various measuring and inspection devices to ensure accuracy and part quality, complete all relevant paperwork

+ Troubleshoot for poor quality product and report all damages

+ Utilize lean-manufacturing principles...
