Primary Care Physician

We are hiring a Primary Care Physician for one of our clients in Abilene, TX .
Job Description:

• SSLC is in need of a Primary Care Physician to begin as soon as possible.
• This is for a caseload of around 35-45 people. They will usually see no more than 10 patients a day for acute illness, injury or follow up. Their day is spent with clinics, interdisciplinary team meetings, annual and interval medical assessments.

• Every 6th weekday on call (5:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
• On call one weekend every 6 weeks
• About 95% of call will be covered by phone and rarely requires a return to campus
• When on call for the weekend/holiday, they must come in and perform infirmary rounds (16 bed Infirmary for acute and chronic care) and evaluate any acute illness or injuries among residents
• The remainder of the time will be via phone
