Primary Health Care Physician - Canora Health and Wellness Centre

Job Description

Canora is seeking a full time Primary Health Care Physician to join their team at the Canora Health and Wellness Centre which is a modern, well organized and fully equipped clinic, located in the Canora Hospital. The clinic is comprised of 4 physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner who provide primary health care services 7 days a week, with 24 hour emergency services, using a Collaborative Emergency Care (CEC) model.

Regular clinic hours are from 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 17:00 Saturday/Sunday. In addition to working in the clinic, physicians are required to participate in the on-call rota for the hospital, community and Long Term Care facility. There is a focus on an integrated team approach to client care with Multi-Disciplinary Rounds, Home Care, Therapies, Public Health Nursing, Mental Health and Addictions, Chronic Disease Management and Dietitian services being provided in the facility on an outpatient/visiting servic...
