PRINCIPAL

Anspaya x w Academy is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic Principal to lead our School Team. Your primary role will be to provide guidance and support to students, teachers, and education staff; you will report to the Anspaya x w Education Society Board.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Education or other Bachelor degree (Masters preferred);
• BC Teacher Certification, or certification in progress, or ability to obtain an LoP;
• 3+ years working in classroom-based, online, and distance learning environments;
• 3+ years working with Indigenous adults in education and training environments;
• Knowledge of Gitxsan language and cultural traditions;
• Experience writing funding proposals and reporting to funding organizations;
• Experience tracking and reporting expenditures;
