Principal Business Consultant – Mining Safety & Risk (Puerto Montt)

The Senior Business Consultant – Mining Safety & Risk advises mining clients across Chile on safety, operational risk, and regulatory compliance transformation.

The role partners with executive and operational leaders to embed critical risk management, strengthen governance, and improve safety performance as part of broader business and ESG objectives.

• Lead client‑facing consulting engagements focused on mining safety and operational risk
• Design and implement safety and risk operating models aligned with general mining best practices
• Advise on Chilean mining regulations (SERNAGEOMIN, DS 132, Law ******, DS 40, DS 44)
• Support audits, inspections, permitting, and operational readiness activities
• Lead Critical Risk Management (CRM), including fatal risk controls, IPER matrices, and Bow Tie analysis
