**About the role**
Stantec is expanding our Urban Development capability in ACT, and we’re looking for a **Principal Civil Engineer** to join our Canberra team. This leadership role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to drive some of the region’s most impactful community development projects.
As a Principal Engineer, your primary purpose is to **lead the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and community-focused civil engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle** from strategic planning and concept design to detailed design and implementation.
Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centres, small towns, and rural areas - and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.
