Principal Commodity Manager

Position Overview          

As a Project Sourcing Manager for the Battery Solutions business, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing global sourcing and purchasing strategies for direct commodities.

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:  **        

+ Lead the selection, assessment, and strategic evaluation of suppliers within assigned material categories.
+ Analyze market and supplier data, profile material fields, and define optimal sourcing strategies, including supplier selection and negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions, to maximize profitability and business performance.
+ Own supplier management activities including supplier selection, performance monitoring and communication, supplier evaluations, strategic supplier classification, and supplier development to ensure a robust and optimized supply chain.
