Position Overview

Principal Customs Technician (Fixed-term, 12 months) located in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Ensures and executes compliance of internal customs controls and performs internal Mexico Customs Audits.
• Provides tariff classification for all merchandise for Mexico Customs.
• Determines recommended tariff classification for all merchandise for US Customs.
• Supports Annex 31 VAT New TAX Reform.
• Provides technical support to internal Customs Department Customs Technicians related to his/her job description.
• Coordinates import, export and traffic operations.
• Ensures, performs and coordinates the timely and secure flow of new product lines and transfers.
• May participate in Internal Customs yearly forecast as well as financial analysis and reports related to budget.
