Principal Engineer

Our client is a forerunner in the shipbuilding industry. It is seeking to employ an
experienced professional to join them as
Principal Engineer (Marine) – Structural Details Design (Ref:
KHXXXX)
The successful candidate will independently develop structural designs that comply with
Class and Technical specification requirements within the assigned schedule.
The Job
 As Project Lead, he will be responsible for delivering the respective project design
drawings and documents according to project plan schedule.
 Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for the specific design requirement
compliance, review, and approval.
 Review external designer's pre-contract technical specifications, general
arrangement and drawing lists.
 Perform FE analysis using FEMAP is an advantage.
 Review project team members drawings, calculations or documents prior to
submission.
 Perform structural calculation, rudder calculation and design.
