Roles and Responsibilities
Establish and manage end-to-end tool, fixture, and gage management systems, ensuring standardization, traceability, and lifecycle visibility.
Develop and implement a digital Tool Management System (TMS) integrated with MES/ERP to enable data-driven decision-making, predictive maintenance, and tool life optimization.
Design and deploy smart tool room automation, covering tool inventory management, storage, assembly, presetting, measurement, balancing, and tool life control.
Optimize tool, fixture, and gage usage through data analytics, standard libraries, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce setup time and cost.
Define and execute tool and fixture strategies to ensure efficient utilization, fast availability, and alignment with manufacturing and engineering needs.
