Principal Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description

A large sized Consulting company with branches across South Africa and a reputation as an employer of choice are looking to hire a Principal Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer to join them in either Pretoria or Cape Town.

Minimum requirements:

•Preferably have an MSc level qualification (or higher) in geotechnical engineering/engineering geology, or significant demonstrable experience in geotechnical engineering as equivalent.

• 10+ years’ experience

• Regular interaction with external clients in the planning of projects and/or the completing of projects is required.

• Be professionally registered with ECSA or SACNASP

• Experience on complex multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects would be a benefit.

• Flexibility around working hours and ability to travel freely is a requirement.
