Principal Functional Safety Engineer

Wood is looking for an experienced certified Principal Functional Safety Engineer who has a good understanding of IEC 61511 SIS Lifecycle model and has working knowledge and experience of the key SIS Lifecycle activities. This role will be working on a PSC contract outside IR35 and remote working in the UK can be an option.

Description

• Provide comprehensive functional safety lifecycle management to ensure project compliance with both client and Wood specifications, as well as applicable codes, regulations, and national/international standards.
• Serve as the project focal point on Functional Safety for project definition, development, and execution.
• Prepare or review key functional safety documentation, including the Functional Safety Plan, Functional Safety Management Procedures, Safety Requirements Specifications, SIS Impact Analysis, SIL Calculations, Emergency Depressurization and Blowdown Specifications, as well as SIL Verification and Validat...
