Principal Geotechnical Engineer – Northern BC & Yukon

WSP is seeking a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to strengthen our Ground Engineering & Materials practice across Northern BC and the Yukon. The role is based in the Prince George, BC office and includes relocation and accommodation support.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex geotechnical investigations, advanced analyses, design reviews, and construction‑phase services.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through full project life cycles with clear technical direction.
• Evaluate intricate soil and rock conditions using advanced modelling to deliver robust, defensible recommendations.
• Shape methodologies, standards, and innovation within WSP’s northern geotechnical practice.
• Mentor and develop staff across levels, fostering strong capability and succession growth.
