Principal HV Cable Design Engineer

My client is a growing engineering consultancy operating across the UK power and utilities sector. Due to continued project demand, they are looking to appoint an experienced Principal Cable Design Engineer to support the delivery of complex, high-value infrastructure schemes.

This is a technically focused role offering the opportunity to lead, check and approve cable design work while mentoring others and contributing to wider business performance.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering technically robust cable designs, ensuring work is right‑first‑time and compliant with statutory and industry standards. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget.
