Job Description

About the role:
The Timely Emergency Care (TEC) project is the Department of Health's aimed at enhancing hospital-wide patient flow and reducing delays in emergency care across Victoria, in partnership with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, 22 Health Services and Ambulance Victoria.
Key objectives of the TEC Project include:
* Strengthening improvement support, performance oversight and consistent application of the Standards across health services. Enabling deeper engagement and clearer accountability for system-wide flow improvement, embedding this as core business.
* Reducing hospital admission rates, emergency department length of stay, and ambulance transfer times.
* Promoting collaborative improvement by bringing together health service teams to share best practice and innovations, with support from local and international experts in patient flow and improvement science.
