The Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) is Singapore's flagship institute for the genomic sciences. The Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR) is the parent funding body for the GIS and has a long-term commitment to advance science and develop innovative technology to further economic growth and improve lives. As one of the world's premier genomic centres, the GIS integrates genetics, genomics, high-throughput biology, and data science to gain fundamental, translational, and clinical insights into human disease and health ().
