Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Semiconductor industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer as part of their expansion plans in Singapore, reporting to the R&D Engineering Manager.
THE ROLE
The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for:
Lead mechanical design and development of enclosures, thermal management systems, and packaging for power supplies.
Drive innovation in cooling solutions, structural integrity, and compact form factors.
Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate mechanical and power electronics seamlessly.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
8+ years of experience in mechanical design for SMPS, AC-DC, or DC-DC power supplies.
Strong knowledge of thermal analysis, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency with CAD too...
