Pipeline SCADA Systems Engineer

Purpose: Specialist consulting and technical leadership in Pipeline SCADA systems for onshore oil, gas and energy infrastructure. Location: Hybrid position based in Canada (Calgary or Edmonton preferred). Full‑time. Responsibilities

Act as a Pipeline SCADA subject matter expert in consulting, studies and project delivery assignments. Conduct front‑end consulting support, including scope definition, option evaluation, system philosophies and asset automation strategies. Lead SCADA system architecture development for pipelines, including RTUs, PLCs, communications networks, SCADA host platforms and integration with field instrumentation. Develop and review key deliverables: Control and SCADA philosophies, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Control narratives and Cause & Effect matrices, I/O databases and system architecture diagrams, Alarm management and cybersecurity concepts.
