Principal Product Engineer

+ Lead custom layout migration and other backend flow development and adoption for advanced process nodes using Virtuoso tools
+ Set up and maintain Virtuoso backend environments, including PDK validation and signoff flows.
+ Develop automation scripts (SKILL/Python/Perl/UNIX Shell) and provide training/documentation.
+ Troubleshoot complex issues and manage escalations with R&D.
+ Deliver structured feedback to influence product roadmap.
+ BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
+ 9+ years of experience with custom IC layout design flow using Virtuoso
+ Expert at device place, routing and verification
+ Solid knowledge of SKILL, PDK
+ Design tape-out experiences, planar and finFET experience is a plus
+ Automation and programming experience is a plus
+ Strong analysis/debug capability for technical issues
