Job Description
WSP Africa is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Thermal Power Plant Engineer who will function as a senior technical consultant for Thermal Power Plants with a specific focus on Nuclear Power Plants in Southern Africa and also able to support the international business as required.
Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA is required
The role will be based at our WSP Africa Johannesburg offices and will require foreign travel; specific travel to locations within Africa/USA/Canada and the UK.
+ Managing and performing high quality technical advisory works
+ Project Management and interfacing between engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil and control and instrumentation) and WSP offices in USA/Canada and the UK
+ Prepare functional designs, specifications and tender documents for Thermal Power Plants with a specific focus on Nuclear Power Plant projects according to internationally accepted standards.
