Principal UI Designer

Responsibilities

• Own the overall UI direction and vision for casual mobile games, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
• Design, prototype, and iterate on interfaces, layouts, and user flows for menus, HUDs, popups, and onboarding experiences.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of UI into game.
• Establish and maintain UI pipelines, guidelines, and component libraries to streamline production and ensure consistent quality.
• Balance aesthetics and functionality to ensure visual design enhances usability and supports gameplay, events, and monetization features.
• Stay up to date on UI trends and reference top-performing casual games to identify best practices and continuously improve UI quality and player experience.
• Mentor and guide other UI designers to foster creative growth and technical excellence within the team.
