Overview

A $1bn Africa-focused private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Analyst to join its Cape Town office.

This role offers hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, with strong development opportunities and early responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess investment opportunities through market research, sector analysis, and company screening
• Build and maintain financial models to analyse performance, valuation, and key value drivers
• Support end-to-end due diligence and transaction execution, including coordination with external advisors
• Monitor portfolio company performance, update valuations, and contribute to strategic and operational initiatives
• Prepare investment memoranda, internal presentations, and reporting materials
