Overview
A $1bn Africa-focused private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Analyst to join its Cape Town office.
This role offers hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, with strong development opportunities and early responsibility.
Responsibilities
Identify and assess investment opportunities through market research, sector analysis, and company screening
Build and maintain financial models to analyse performance, valuation, and key value drivers
Support end-to-end due diligence and transaction execution, including coordination with external advisors
Monitor portfolio company performance, update valuations, and contribute to strategic and operational initiatives
Prepare investment memoranda, internal presentations, and reporting materials
