PRN PET Technologist

As a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologis t you are responsible for performing tests for diagnosis and/or medical research by preparing and administering small doses of radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients, followed by the use of high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body. This may include Nuclear Medicine examinations and/or Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and PET/CT examinations. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is held accountable for performing the correct nuclear examinations while maintaining a safe radioactive environment and will document activities related to radiopharmaceutical administration and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy.
