Job Description
- Determining policy coverage, escalating technical issues as needed and generally adhering to the applicable PST claim handling requirements. This will include establishing and setting reserves for indemnity (and in some instances, expense claims) reviewing reserves on an appropriate regular basis to ensure adequacy and ensuring diary and compliance requirements are up to date at all times.
- Authorising payments in accordance with internal processes and within scope of authority, settling claims as expeditiously and economically as possible.
- Ensuring that internal and external stakeholders, co-insurers/reinsurers and Liberty clients consistently receive a high level of claims service and proactive communication that differentiates Liberty from its competitors.
- Actively pursuing all avenues of recovery including but not limited to timely subrogation activities.
- Delegating administrative/ processing tasks to the broader PST where appropriate. ...
