Procurement And Subcontract Manager

Role & responsibilities :

• Handling of Procurement of Main Subcontracts including Civil, Electrical & Mechanical, Purchase of various Miscellaneous items, site based services, hiring of P&M from SCM Function, for Transmission Line (TL) & Substation (SS) Projects.
• Posting at Country Offices / Project Sites located in Angola, Chile, Cameroon, Guyana & Uganda. Functional reporting to Head Subcontracts Procurement at HO and Administrative reporting to the Country Manager.
• Responsibility includes, Collating RFQ docs from internal stake holders, identifying local suppliers/contractors, due diligence of bidders, Techno-commercial evaluation, internal approval process & Order placement.
• Project coordination amongst Business Team, Consultant, Site and various department of organization.
• Market intelligence on local rates , bottom up costing analysis.
• Techno-Commercial negotiations, including Contract terms & Prices.
