Procurement Engineer

Ensure that all new suppliers have completed the vendor registration process in coordination with the vendor management officer and the approval of the same prior to processing the purchase orders and or contracts.

To perform vendor evaluation and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds the standards and adheres to our overall company policies and procedures, recommend for change based upon performance and budgetary considerations.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust database of sources of supply and a comprehensive network of alternative suppliers which reduces vulnerability of the supply chain and provides overall flexibility and reliability.
• Ensure deliveries of all major, critical and fast‑moving materials in a timely manner and in sufficient quantity to maximize business efficiency and enhance customer service.
