Procurement Engineer/ Procurement Executive

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for acquiring materials, equipment, instrument, and services needed for projects.
• Work closely with the engineering & R&D departments to understand the requirements, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers based on product specifications and cost target.
• Responsible for supplier management, such as supplier sourcing, selection, evaluation.
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
• Responsible for cost reduction and price negotiation.
• Expedite and ensure timely delivery from suppliers/vendor including receipt of goods on delivery to fulfill production & project schedule.
• Maintain and update purchasing document/records.
• Verify and process invoice and submit to Accounts Dept.
• Assist in logistic including providing other shipping documents when necessary.
