Procurement Manager

Role Summary: The Procurement Manager develops and implements innovative procurement strategies to ensure the cost-effective and timely acquisition of supplies, goods and services that meet company needs. The incumbent is also expected to develop and implement cost-cutting strategies to allow the organization to optimize its investments. Main Duties • Manage all procurement activities of our company and negotiate terms and conditions to ensure that the highest quality products are purchased at the best possible prices • Research and source profitable/premium suppliers, initiate and maintain profitable partnerships with them • Manage the RFP and bid process; solicit bids and quotes, prepare bid summaries, determine the best possible price for the desired items; and place orders for all equipment, material, and supplies according to standards/specifications set by department head • Build and develop good relationships with key suppliers to ensure best value for money and customer s...
