Job Description

 
  Responsibilities 
 Source raw materials and scout new suppliers and technologies in the area of responsibility, negotiate and conclude deals in accordance with the delegated scope
 Design, maintain and implement sourcing strategies for designated product groups and geographies, develop relationships with suppliers as per strategic requirements
 Design and lead optimization projects to generate value for the organization, identify & execute improvement potentials, challenge status quo, de-specification and re-risking, etc. to realize Clariant objectives
 Monitor and analyze the market developments and supply availability; forecast prices of strategic spend segments 
 Align with the supplier base and execute projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and drive sustainability initiatives in connection with Clariant strategy and policies
