Procurement Manager (Edible Oils)

JOB OBJECTIVES:

To lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of edible oils by securing a reliable supply at optimal cost, quality, and service levels. The role aims to mitigate price volatility risks, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure uninterrupted operations while supporting the company’s margin, competitiveness, and growth objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for edible oils aligned with the company’s cost, quality, and supply objectives.
• Monitor global and local market trends (palm, canola, soybean, coconut, corn) to anticipate price movements, supply risks, and regulatory changes.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, accreditation, and performance management to ensure reliability and competitiveness.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms to mitigate volatility and secure optimal total cost.
