Job Description
The Procurement Officer oversees the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving cost-effective and timely purchasing. This role manages vendor performance, develops strategic sourcing initiatives, and fosters strong vendor relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order
Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely delivery
Process import shipment entries and coordinate logistics
Conduct market research and identify new suppliers
Manage procurement for internal IT and operational needs
Negotiate with local and foreign suppliers
Monitor vendor performance and resolve supply issues
Implement strategic sourcing initiatives
Maintain procurement records and generate reports
