Procurement Officer – Textile Factory

A Textile Factory in Faisalabad is looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of textile chemicals, dyes, spare parts, machinery items, and factory consumables. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and knowledge of textile industry procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities
Source and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
Obtain quotations, conduct rate comparisons, and negotiate competitive prices.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Purchase textile chemicals, dyes, spare parts, and factory materials.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Maintenance, and Finance departments.
Monitor inventory levels and support material planning.
Conduct market surveys and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
