Procurement Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform vendor sourcing, price negotiation and supplier performance management
• Compares prices amongst various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions
• Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices
• Monitor and ensure smooth material supply, from which the delivery is in a timely manner and the quality is satisfactory
• Create opportunities for cost reduction and payment term extension
• Develop sourcing options and supply alternatives for existing and new projects
• Drive for good supplier performance and build up intimate relationship with suppliers
• Analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop appropriate procurement technologies and processes

Qualification and Requirements:

• Degree holder in in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management / Engineering or relevant disciplines
