Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist formulates and implements Strategic Sourcing Options (SSO)/Commodity Execution Process (CEP)/ Category Management, mitigates risks through product/market analysis, implements supplier relations plans and programs, and conducts benefits reporting to ensure goods and third party services are available at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Responsibilities:

• Leads SSO/CEP/Category Management projects of assigned goods or services to ensure contracts are in place and, supply is assured, benefits targets are met, suppliers are evaluated, and end-users are well informed of contract implementation and progress.
• Recommends sourcing plans and strategies that are aligned with annual forecasts for assigned goods or services to support business / operational requirements.
• Conducts product and market analysis to mitigate risks and to develop contingency plans.
