Procurement superintendent

Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key mining client are working together to source an experienced Procurement Superintendent for their team in South East Africa. This will be a FIFO (fly in/fly out) role 6/3 (6 weeks on and 3 weeks off).
Responsibilities
The Procurement Superintendent is responsible for end-to-end procurement delivery at site, ensuring that goods and services are sourced competitively, ordered on time, and received in line with operational requirements, while maintaining strong governance and commercial discipline. The role leads the procurement team and interfaces daily with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance to remove bottlenecks and reduce downtime risk.
This is a hands‑on, execution-focused role suited to a remote mining environment where priority management, expediting, vendor management, and clean controls are essential.
