About the role

Radio National is looking for a talented and energetic producer to join our crack Brisbane-based team. A key responsibility will be to generate well-researched, sophisticated and comprehensive briefs that engage and inform an audience for Life Matters.


Experience in studio direction and operation for live interviews (panelling) or willingness to be trained is essential.
High-level organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team under the pressure of a daily program are also essential.


Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Generate, research and produce original story ideas, interviews and panel discussions and talkback producing sophisticated and comprehensive briefs in a timely manner.

  • Fault-free panel operation in a live environment and work effectively with presenter, providing in-studio direction live to air as required.
