Responsibilities Contribute towards the production of daily news bulletins and specials. This will include stacking rundowns, writing stories, integrating graphics and video/images to tell compelling, relevant stories. Depending on work experience, direct production of news programmes by assigning stories to writers, coordinating requests for graphics, planning sequences with the studio crew, and executing live programmes. Produce news packages using wire agency material, conceptualising and writing scripts, integrating relevant soundbites, and editing packages. Break news on air quickly and accurately. React to developing stories, amend scripts and bulletin rundowns to reflect the new line-up of stories. Conceptualise graphics, including Augmented Reality graphics, to tell stories in a more dynamic and interactive manner.
