Product & Application Development Engineer

Product and Application Development (PAD) Engineer works on development of polymer compounds products used in automotive, electronic appliance, consumer and industrial applications. You will be working within the PAD team, interacting with other site functions (Commercial, Procurement, Manufacturing, etc) to commercialize new products to support business growth strategy.

• Drive and lead all technical activities related to the development of new products or improvements of existing products.
• Develop formulations at lab scale, supporting introduction of any new required raw material.
• Verify performance and design robustness to generate datasheet and specifications.
• Issue recommendation for processing conditions and support scale up in Manufacturing to ensure hand-over to production.
• Ensure development quality and effectiveness through an efficient coordination of lab activities with PAD technicians.
