Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Product Designer II to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. The Product Design Engineer II contributes to the conception, design, development, and verification of new products. .



What Will You Do?
Main Job Duties:

+ Design innovative, customizable power distribution busway systems and components.

+ Apply a systematic, analytical approach to product concepting, design, and testing.

+ Develop mechanical systems using a range of manufacturing methods, including thermoplastic extrusion, plastic injection molding, thermoset molding, metal forming, casting, and extrusion.

+ Use 2D and 3D CAD systems for detailed design analysis, including structural, thermal, and finite element analysis.

+ Conduct material and tooling cost studies; collaborate with vendors to ensure cost-effective design...
