Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities and Authorities:



1. Spearheads project management and resource allocation through delegation of tasks to product engineering team members. Monitors progress against project schedules.



2. Analyze project feasibility based on technology and resources and oversees improvement on product designs that will have quality and cost savings impact.



3. Constantly reviews and screens technical drawings and other engineering related documents until standard requirements are achieve.

4. Conducts buyoff / evaluation of new received sample parts from supplier. Establishes ROS (Report on Samples), reviews and release final disposition.



5. Reviews PMS (Predictive Maintenance Schedule) inspection records of existing machine, tools, and jigs and initiates revisions as needed.



6. Participates on process improvement / kaizen activities and projects that has impact on quality, productivity, and efficiency.
