The Product Development Manager – Fabric Development is primarily responsible for creating and developing new piece dye fabrics, translating customer and market needs into commercially viable, production‐ready fabrics.Once fabrics are developed, this role ensures a structured and disciplined transition from development to bulk production, including lab dips, approvals, and pre‐production.This is a hands‐on, technical role first, and a process coordination role second.Key Responsibilities- Develop new fabrics based on Customer briefs, Market trends, and Sales direction.Define fabric construction, blends, finishes, and performance targets- Work closely with mills, finishing, and dye house teams to engineer fabrics and ensure fabrics are commercially viable and scalable- Ensure color accuracy, hand feel, and finish consistency and performance standards.Adjust constructions/processes to meet targets- Manage workflow, ensure clear, approved standards before production starts, and impleme...
