Product engineer - applications

Drives product design, development, and plant support to launch products effectively and efficiently, as well as grow technical capabilities.
Responsibilities

Understand internal and external customer design requirements.
Create design.
Communication design.
Validate design.
Launch product.
Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process.
Capture lessons learned.
Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables.
Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets.
Communicate effectively both internally and externally.
Apply structured problem-solving methods for issue resolution.
Manage program risk.

Qualifications

~ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)
~0-4+ years of experience in automotive interiors.
