Product Engineering

Key Responsibilities: Lead R&D, Manufacturing, and other functions in program development activities to ensure achievement of key milestones and vehicle Quality/Cost/Timing targets. Support the Assistant Chief Vehicle Engineer in defining and completing program metrics and direction to meet overall vehicle objectives. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring control of the critical path. Prepare and chair progress milestone meetings, confirming all deliverables. Monitor metrics, identify key issues, and escalate “decision-ready” matters to the Chief Engineer. Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget. Work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within the Nissan organization. Anticipate potential Quality/Cost/Timing concerns and proactively propose preventive or recovery actions.
