Product Support Advisor - FIFO

**DESCRIPTION**

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**

+ Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds on Cummins High Horsepower engines in a field‑service environment with minimal supervision.
+ Support Rio Tinto’s mining operations by ensuring maximum fleet availability, reliability, and operational safety.
+ Carry out scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, following Cummins and OEM procedures.
+ Interpret complex engine system interactions—including fuel systems, electronic controls, cooling, exhaust/aftertreatment, and driveline—to accurately identify and resolve root causes.
+ Provide onsite customer support, manage expectations, and communicate technical outcomes clearly and professionally.
+ Coach, mentor, and support junior technicians and apprentices, including reviewing repair plans, parts interpretation, and workflow accuracy.
