Product Support Officer – Electronics

Purpose:

Respond to both internal and external customer requests for product information and pricing.

Objectives/ Principle accountabilities:

• Support the local Product Specialist with the help needed to meet the monthly sales target.
• Preparation and submission of commercial VSD quotations.
• Pro-actively follow up on quotations and open opportunities.
• Provide basic telephonic support, with the help of the Electronics team.
• Working closely with the BMG Electronics Workshop team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Dealing with outside suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
• Expediting and manage the local order backlog and provide local customers with ETAs.
• Arrange collection and delivery of jobs and related aspects.
• Support the Product Specialist with customer follow ups and updates of the local CRM opportunities forecast.
